'Hollywood Square' Gets Hip Hop Treatment

Get ready for a few games of tic-tac-toe, hip hop edition: "Hip Hop Squares" (premiering Tues., May 22 at 11 p.m.) is headed to MTV2.

A spinoff of the classic Hollywood game show "Hollywood Squares," "Hip Hop Squares" will be hosted by New York radio DJ Peter Rosenberg and will feature performances by Nick Cannon, "Jackass" crew member Bam Margera, singer-songwriter and "The Vampires Diaries" Kat Graham and more.

"Hip Hop Squares is a great representation of MTV2's new brand filter to deliver smart, funny and relevant content that speaks directly to male Millennials' - or 'Malennials' as we call them," Paul Ricci, Head of Programming for MTV2, said in a statement. "The show will refresh an iconic format and create a fun, dynamic series that's unpredictable, heavy on personality and much more 'party' than 'game show.'"
