What does ex-Mouseketeer J.C. Chasez think about his former "Mickey Mouse Club" co-stars Christina Aguilera & Tony Lucca continually sparring on "The Voice"?
"I respect her judgment, but I personally didn't think she was right to call him one-dimensional," J.C. said. "I'm biased, of course, but the one thing I can tell you -? from listening to his music and watching him perform -? is that he is anything but one dimensional."
And does J.C. think Britney Spears would make a good "X Factor" judge?

Add to myYahoo! The second annual Comedy Awards are taping tonight at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City, and HuffPost Comedy will be there covering the red carpet, watching the show and interviewing comedians backstage. All for you!
With some of comedy's biggest names nominated for awards at the Viacom-produced event, you can expect to see some genuinely funny speeches and bits when the show airs next Sunday. All of the presenters, including Chris Rock, Will Arnett, Tracy Morgan, Maya Rudolph, Adam Scott and Jon Stewart, wrote their own material for the show with the help of popular TV comedy writers. Although it won't have the extreme unpredictability of a live broadcast, last year there were more than a few unexpected moments.
Aside from the yet-to-be decided award categories, Don Rickles will receive an award for comedic excellence that David Letterman won in a surprise appearance last year. Similarly, Robin Williams will be given the "Stand-Up Icon? award that was presented to Eddie Murphy at the first ceremony.
We'll be updating here as well as tweeting photos and quotes from the via @HuffPostComedy all night (we'll try to avoid any spoilers) so follow along!
The Comedy Awards will premiere on Comedy Central on Sunday, May 6 at 9:00/8:00 Central.

Add to myYahoo! Will "Cougar Town's" happy couple Jules and Grayson get their dream wedding on the beach? Not if Barb and her new husband have anything to say about it.
Yep, Barb (Carolyn Hennesy) is back! And she's married! And, of course, she landed a guy who could give her quite an impressive rock ... and her own beach wedding.
Watch this clip from this week's new episode, "Southern Accents" (Tues., May 1, 8:30 p.m. ET on ABC), to see who Barb married and what her latest Jules put-down is.
Here's the official episode description of "Cougar Town" - "Southern Accents":
Jules has a hard time accepting that Holly (guest star Briga Heelan) is part of her life, a situation that does not improve after she finds out that Holly and Travis made out; Andy wants to run for mayor so he can change the town rules against weddings on the beach (something Jules has her heart set on), but Ellie won't let him; and Laurie tries to convince Bobby he's just socially inept, not prejudiced, after he blurts out some awkward comments at the cake shop.
Hennesy has been M.I.A. this season while she's shooting Season 5 of "True Blood" (premieres Sun., June 10, 9 p.m. on HBO). She'll be playing Rosalyn Harris, a 200-year-old Texas vampire and member of the Vampire Authority.
Tell us: Have you missed Barb?

Add to myYahoo! Two of my life's guideposts, American Bandstand and The Band, drew their last breaths a week ago with the deaths of Dick Clark and Levon Helm. Now the bandstand is less full, the songs less soothing, the beat a little harder to dance to...
I realize that has a lot to do with my growing up in Philadelphia and being born in 1947. The latter designates me, demographically, as an official "baby boomer." There were millions upon millions of us inoculated with rock and roll, and we were going to dance our way into the future. Along the way, we'd push our parents aside, change the world, and leave our fingerprints on everything and everyone.
Two out of three isn't bad, I guess.
The Bandstand part, even though it's further away time-wise, somehow seems more clear. Maybe that's because I was too young to be a participant, so I became a watcher, an observer, tuning in after elementary school to see my 15 year-old cousin Ruth jitterbugging with one of her girlfriends from West Catholic High School for Girls.
"Look there she is, there's Ruth," I'd holler to my mom, who'd always come back into the room too late to see her young niece shaking and shimmying. Ruth was living with us in our tiny Philadelphia row house at the time, much to the dismay of my 16 year-old brother who was attending West Catholic High School for Boys and thought he was "too cool" to be on Bandstand.
Ruth and her female partner were dressed in their white blouses and blue jumpers, the uniform of all West Catholic girls. It was their non-Scarlet Letter, but they didn't seem to mind, nor did they mind the fact that some of the other girls, the ones who lived closer to the West Philadelphia studio, had changed into more comfortable/stylish clothes.
I can still see that look on Ruth's face when she and dance partner would slide briefly in front of the camera, both wiggling their derrieres, Ruth doing her female version of the white man's overbite. Dancing as if that was the only thing left to do. The only thing worth doing.
Bob Horn was the host before Dick Clark. He'd really given the show its name, field position and cachet. But he had a drinking problem, and before you could say "Sh-Boom," the young smiling, pseudo-teenager Dick Clark was there, preppy and polished, smiling that Dick Clark smile and making all the kids from Philly feel like they were the most influential teenagers in the world.
And they were. Dick Clark did that for them. Or so they believed. And still believe.
I stopped tuning in to Bandstand a few months before we moved to Ohio in 1959. But once I landed on the unsophisticated sidelines of Hubbard, Ohio, I'd watch wistfully at a distance, wishing like hell I'd catch a glimpse of Ruth or someone else I knew. But I never did. Dick Clark's smile seemed even bigger now. He was a hit maker and a star maker and appeared to have absolute authority in determining what was cool and popular.
He's credited with integrating television and letting black kids on his show, but that's not the way I remember it. He played it safe, which means he played it white. Which I guess is how Ruth and her girlfriends got on Bandstand so much.
Ruth, like Dick Clark, isn't dancing any more. She passed away last fall, unexpectedly, non-familially, but bravely, in Florida. I wonder if during her last moments she remembered herself on Bandstand, remembered Dick Clark, remembered the songs she danced do, relived her 15-20 seconds in front of the camera...
"And they'll be rocking on Bandstand, Philadelphia, PA... "

Add to myYahoo! If you love "Community," then Thurs., May 17 will be a very cool, cool, cool treat. Sure, fans have all been fighting for six seasons and a movie, but three episodes for a finale isn't bad either.
According to The Futon Critic, NBC will be airing 90 minutes of "Community" for its big Season 3 finale, right smack in the middle of May sweeps. The finale, which was originally set to be an hour long with back-to-back episodes, is getting another episode thrown in the mix, bookending that night's Season 6 finale of "30 Rock" (8:30 p.m. ET).
While some may see this as the network trying to burn off remaining episodes of the show, others view it as a vote of confidence for "Community," which has always struggled in the ratings, but has seen an uptick the past few weeks after its hiatus. Airing three episodes of any show on one night is a bold move, but doing it during the "all eyes on us" time of May sweeps is an added bonus.
Maybe a Season 4 renewal isn't far behind? No official word yet on the show's fate just yet, but we'll know about all of NBC's renewals, pickups and cancellations by Mon., May 14.
Excited? Will you be planning any theme watch parties -- from the comfort of a pillow fort perhaps? Tell us in the comments.
Here are the episode descriptions for the three May 17 episodes of "Community":
"The First Chang Dynasty," 8 p.m. ET
THE STUDY GROUP MOBILIZES TO TAKE BACK GREENDALE. With Chang (Ken Jeong) in control of Greendale, the study group develops an elaborate plan to infiltrate the campus without being detected. While Chang becomes distracted planning a big birthday bash for himself, Jeff (Joel McHale) and the study group launch their sneak attack. Meanwhile, Troy (Donald Glover) enlists the help of the Air Conditioning Repair Annex to help with their break-in plan but knows he may be selling his soul to the devil. Chevy Chase, Gillian Jacobs, Alison Brie, Yvette Nicole Brown, Dany Pudi and Jim Rash also star.
"Introduction to Finality," 9 p.m. ET
JEFF GOES UP AGAINST HIS FORMER LAW FIRM COLLEAGUE ALAN CONNOR IN GREENDALE SUMMER FUN COURT; ROB CORDDRY AND JOHN GOODMAN GUEST STAR. When Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown) and Pierce (Chevy Chase) have a disagreement over their sandwich shop, Jeff (Joel McHale) agrees to argue on Shirley's behalf but much to his chagrin, Pierce retains Jeff's former colleague Alan Connor (guest star Rob Corddry, "Hot Tub Time Machine") and the two must square off in "Greendale Summer Fun Court." Meanwhile, Vice Dean Laybourne (guest star John Goodman) makes one last ditch effort to win Troy (Donald Glover) over to his Air Conditioning Repair Annex. Gillian Jacobs, Danny Pudi, Alison Brie, Yvette Nicole Brown and Jim Rash also star.
"Digital Estate Planning," 9:30 p.m. ET
PIERCE AND THE STUDY GROUP PAY A VISIT TO HAWTHORNE ENTERPRISES; GIANCARLO ESPOSITO GUEST STARS. Pierce (Chevy Chase) is summoned to Hawthorne Enterprises to discuss his inheritance with his deceased father's former right-hand man, Gilbert Lawson (guest star Giancarlo Esposito, "Breaking Bad"). The study group goes with him for moral support and must all pitch in to play the video game of their life on Pierce's behalf - or risk losing his inheritance. Joel McHale, Gillian Jacobs, Danny Pudi, Alison Brie, Yvette Nicole Brown, Donald Glover and Jim Rash also star.
