Colbert: 'Congress Must Pass Strict Hoodie
Control Legislation'

Will hoodie control be the next hot-button political issue? It will if Stephen Colbert has anything to say about it.

Both Colbert and Jon Stewart addressed the tragic shooting of Trayvon Martin on their programs Monday night, each with their own unique take. Colbert made the story the subject of his recurring "The Word" segment, focusing on Geraldo's much-maligned indictment of Martin's hoodie as the real culprit in the case.

As Colbert is wont to do, he took Geraldo's message up as his own and ran even further with it, demanding that congress pass "strict hoodie control legislation" and calling upon parents who keep hoodies in the house to hide them where their children can't find them.

He then took the satire even further by calling upon the entire African American community to come together and pick one threatening outfit... and then not wear it.

Finally, he brought the point home with a joke that was as haunting as it was incisive, asking Americans to finally have a frank discussion on clothing control, "because if we ever stop talking about these hoodies, we might start talking about guns."

Enter 'True Blood' Season 5 ... If You Dare

When "True Blood" comes back this summer for Season 5, the past is definitely coming back for some haunting. HBO has released three new teaser trailers set in Eric's (Alexander Skarsgard) bar, Fangtasia; Bill's (Stephen Moyer) home; and Sookie's (Anna Paquin) house, which you can check out in the slideshow below.

Though the videos provide a first person glance through settings viewers have come to know, they offer intriguing soundbytes that give more credence to the words of the previous "True Blood" Season 5 teaser trailer: "In Bon Temps, nothing stays buried forever." The teasers are full of shrieks of desperation, declarations of love, introductions, blood-sucking sound effects and perhaps even a gun shot. At the end of each of these three new teasers, which don't provide any look at the characters themselves (We're still dying to see Christopher Meloni in his new character), the text, "You can't escape your past" appears on the screen.

Speaking of which, when viewers last saw the residents of Bon Temps in "True Blood" Season 4, Alcide confessed his feelings for Sookie and Tara took a bullet to the head. (That could very well be the sound we're hearing in the "Sookie's house.")

No official premiere date for "True Blood" Season 5 has been announced, but take a look below for a taste of what's to come this summer!
