The buzz surrounding David Fincher's The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo has been in effect for a while now, but it's only getting more intense as we inch closer to the film's December release date. We recently saw individual cast pictures, and now we've got new stills of Lisbeth (Rooney Mara) and Mikael (Daniel Craig) in action in what looks like a very frigid Sweden (with bad cell reception). We also see Lisbeth squaring off with her immoral guardian Nils Bjurman in an elevator (though we know that's just the tip of the iceberg). I'm getting a little more excited with each additional look, so check out the new pics and tell me if you agree.

Wolfgang Ban and Eduard Frauneder make wiener schnitzel on 'Today'

A lot of people are familiar with wiener schnitzel mostly as a punchline, not an actual food. Those people got a lesson in Austrian cuisine Friday on 'Today' (weekdays, 7AM on NBC) when chefs Eduard Frauneder and Wolfgang Ban from the New York City restaurant Seasonal Restaurant & Weinbar showed up to cook one of their favorite dishes.

"It's a very authentic rustic cuisine," said Frauneder. "It's very hearty, it's very soulful." It's also made with a center cut of heritage pork, not, as some might assume, with wiener sausage (a term that made the 'Today' crew giggle off-camera).

The recipe was fairly simple, including a breading of egg, flour, and breadcrumbs, plus seltzer water, oil, and some salt and lemon for seasoning. It's cooked quickly in hot oil (375 degrees), and moved around as it fries to make the soufflé crust. And since you've been waiting three paragraphs, here's the pun -- Frauneder made it look easy to soufflé your wiener.

Zoe Saldana of 'Columbiana' on 'Access Hollywood Live'

In the new film 'Columbiana,' Zoe Saldana plays a woman who saw her parents murdered as a child, and grows up to be an assassin. She goes to work for her uncle, the ultimate goal being revenge on the people who killed her parents. Friday on 'Access Hollywood Live' (weekdays, syndicated on NBC), she talked about playing the lead in a violent action film, a role typically filled by male actors.

She said it was empowering for a woman to play a role that would usually go to a man, especially in a film like 'Columbiana.' "It's a genre that is very geared towards males," she said, "and when a woman can do it and get away with it, and you don't compromise the violence that a film about revenge would entail, it's just sexy and edgy has all heart. So I'm really proud of the movie."

Kit Hoover said she thought even the fight scenes in 'Columbiana' were sexy. By way of illustration, she rolled a clip of Saldana beating the crap out of a guy, which perhaps tells us more about Kit Hoover than 'Columbiana.'
