WATCH: 'Community's' 'Law & Order' Intro

"Law & Order" lives ... on "Community"! NBC's cult-hit comedy is paying tribute to the popular Dick Wolf franchise in the Thurs., April 26 episode titled "Basic Lupine Urology" (8 p.m. ET on NBC).

Not content to just take on the archetype roles, TVLine revealed that "Community" took it a step further and even changed its opening credits to pay tribute to "Law & Order," which you can watch below.

Just like the show they're paying tribute to, there will be twists in the "Community" case. When the study group's science project is sabotaged, Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown), a crime show buff, tasks Abed (Danny Pudi) and Troy (Donald Glover) with finding the culprit. Meanwhile, Jeff (Joel McHale) and Annie (Alison Brie) take on the legal side. The Wire" actor Michael K. Williams guest stars as the biology professor and reluctant judge.

The Billboard Music Awards is adding a "Modern" touch for this year’s ceremony.

EW has learned exclusively that Emmy Award-winning pair Julie Bowen and Ty Burrell, best known as Claire and Phil Dunphy on "Modern Family," will host the 2012 Billboard Music Awards on May 20.
