At the start of this week's episode of "New Girl" (Tue., 9 p.m. ET on Fox), Nick found himself alone in the group. Everyone had a boyfriend or girlfriend or whatever Cece and Schmidt are, and he had no one. Apparently, the college floozies just weren't enough for him anymore. So he devoted his life to tomatoes.
But it turned out to be the beginning of the end for Jess and Russell. After she unwisely invited Russell's ex-wife to have dinner with them, Jess discovered a passion -- albeit fueled by hate -- between them that she didn't have in her relationship, and desperately wanted. So she broke it off with him and returned home, where she found a hate-filled and passionate argument with Nick. There's the passion she was looking for...
Cece broke things off with Schmidt as well, but doing so in front of one of her roommates lead to him going on an ill-fated date that night with her instead. By the time the night was over, she would abandon him at the hospital, after literally breaking his penis, and go bowling.
At the hospital, Cece finally admitted her feelings for Schmidt, though they're on an eight week freeze right now as he heals from his injury.
"New Girl" closes in on its first season finale in two weeks, Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Fox.

Add to myYahoo!Despite joining in the final five in protesting and complaining about eliminated contestants getting a chance to come back on "The Biggest Loser" (Tue., 8 p.m. ET on NBC), Conda and her brother Jeremy found themselves supporting it this week. At least, as long as it was used to deposit Jeremy into the Finals.
After getting eliminated last week, he had to face off against every contestant who didn't quit the show for the final position in the finale. But that didn't stop him or Conda from whining and complaining all week about how unfair it all was. Maybe next season should be a season of "No Whining!"
The biggest surprise of the night came with Mike, who was eliminated in the second week of the competition. He made it all the way to the final of several rounds of competition alongside Jeremy and Lauren, who was eliminated in the fourth week. Both Mike and Lauren are inspirations for people that it can be done at home, and without making excuses or complaining.
In the end, though, the show found itself right back where it started. Jeremy outlasted Mike in the end and reclaimed that third spot. So it's down -- again -- to Kim, and the brother-sister duo of Conda and Jeremy. All three got warm welcomes at home and began prepping for the finale.
Next week, find out who wins "The Biggest Loser" next Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.

Add to myYahoo! This week's Glee kicks off with a goose-bump-inducing rendition of Whitney Houston's "How Will I Know" by Rachel, Mercedes, Santana, and Kurt, and it's just the beginning of an episode full of some of my favorite performances of this season. The kids are still grieving Houston's death, and Emma points out that it's partially due to the fact that they're having a rough time dealing with the impending transition of graduation. Schue suggests a Whitney-themed assignment, and we all benefit, getting some sentimental but hugely entertaining numbers.
A couple of relationships are tested, but I'm most pleasantly surprised by the blossoming of a new romance that seems to come out of nowhere. Let's talk about those moments and more after the jump.

Add to myYahoo!Just to keep things confusing for viewers, "Dance Moms: Miami" (Tue., 10 p.m. ET on Lifetime) features an Abby as well, but this time she's one of the titular moms. In this week's installment, Abby gets wind that one of the other moms may have attempted to sabotage her daughter at the latest competition. So she calls her out on it.
Some of the other mothers said that Debi had gone to Victor, the studio owner, and asked him to help ensure that Abby's daughter Sammy didn't place. And she didn't, though it's never made clear if Debi made the request, and further if anyone did anything about it.
"It's sad when I have that in my head to know that somebody would even say something like that," Abby said. Debi, though, vehemently denied it, even as another mother came to Abby's defense.
Finally it got to be too much for Abby, who headed outside to cool down declaring that she'd never experienced anything like these mothers. "I never ever was involved in something like this," she said of the atmosphere. "So disgusting."

And on the latest "Giuliana & Bill" (Tue., 8 p.m. ET on Style) they got everyone they'd hoped for in a single phone call.
It's completely 100% positive. She's carrying a baby," their doctor said of the couple's surrogate. They had chosen to go this route to have a child because of Giuliana's cancer. Giuliana immediately got, as she put it, "hysterical." But she had good reason.
"This is honestly the best news of our lives and I just can't even believe it," Giuliana told the woman. "We love you so much. We're so thankful that it worked."
"You are making our dreams come true and the gratitude words can't describe," Bill concurred.

On '30 Rock', Jack Donaghy mentioned that Kevin Sorbo introduced him to his podiatrist. Normally, such a mention of a celeb's televersion wouldn't be worthy of a mention here in the blog. (But it would still count towards that televersion's presence in Toobworld.)
However, Kevin Sorbo is no ordinary celebrity televersion. Within the reality of Toobworld, he also starred in the TV show 'Hercules: The Legendary Journeys'. But he's also the actual demi-god Hercules, only working under the alias of "Kevin Sorbo".
Jack's mention of Kevin Sorbo as part of his fictional life connects '30 Rock' to both 'Hercules: The Legendary Journeys', the various TV movie prequels and sequels, and to 'Xena, Warrior Princess'.
Kevin "Hercules" Sorbo may one day find himself on the Birthday Honors List for the TV Crossover Hall Of Fame.

Osha is a wildling, now in service to House Stark at Winterfell. She is one of the 'free folk' who live north of the Wall.
