The schedule for Big Brother 14 will be identical to the one it had last year: the show debuts July 12 at 9 and airs Thursdays at 9, Sundays at 8, and Wednesdays at 8. That means there are just 11 weeks and two days until the show consumes our lives, and invariably brings back Rachel and Brendon and who knows who else to be ejaculated on by its challenges.... keep reading »

Add to myYahoo!James Perri has won big in more ways than one.
The Huntsville, N.C., resident, who has survived rare brain tumors twice, just won $15,800 on "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" Monday, WBTV.com reports. Perri promptly donated the entire amount to Operation Oligo Cure, a nonprofit started by his wife, Nancy, to raise awareness and funds to cure oligodendroglioma, a rare disease affecting just 4 percent of people with primary brain tumors.
Perri, a 40-year-old father of two, gives his wife all the credit:
“She’s really the one who’s impressive in this whole thing,” he told the Charlotte Observer of his wife. “To put this whole thing together is remarkable.”
Perri has been tumor-free since April 2010. His first diagnoses came as a 24-year-old medical student at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey; his second happened when he was 36, the Observer reports.
Patience and persistence proved a winning combination both in battling both tumors -- as well as competing on the game show. After applying a year-and-a-half before, Perri got the call to compete in a live show in November, according to WBTV. Now, those thousands of dollars will fund research for other people diagnosed with oligodendroglioma.
“We thought if we were to stop and get upset, it would just slow our efforts down," Perri told the Charlotte Observer, adding that he's still “feeling great.”

Add to myYahoo!NEW YORK -- The Kardashian family will continue living life on TV for the next three years.
The E! Entertainment network said Tuesday it had reached a deal with its most bankable franchise to make three more seasons of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians." TMZ reports the family will be paid over $40 million for the 3 seasons, making the deal the richest contract in reality TV history.
The sixth season of the show averaged 3 million viewers on Sunday nights, the cable networks' top series. Five of the 10 most-watched shows in the network's history, in fact, involved the Kardashians. The 18-episode seventh season begins on May 20.
E! said the entire family is covered by the deal: Kim, Kourtney and Rob Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian Odom, and Bruce, Kris, Kendall and Kylie Jenner. E! will continue to have the first crack at any spinoff projects.
E! has turned the Kardashians into a mini-empire, with spinoff series like "Kourtney and Kim Take New York" and "Khloe and Lamar." Although E! retains the first right to these spinoffs, Tuesday's deal does not specify how many more will be made.
The network would also not say whether musician Kanye West would be included in the series. West and Kim Kardashian have been seen together lately amid reports that they are a new couple.
Kim's elaborate wedding - and brief marriage to - basketball player Kris Humphries was a highlight of E!'s programming last fall. The network had to put out a statement denying rumors that the wedding was orchestrated for TV.

Add to myYahoo!"Axe Cop" is coming to Fox. The comic will come to life, via animation, as part of Fox's late-night block of cartoon programming, Animation Domination HD, launching in 2013.
“'Axe Cop' is one of the most creative, hilarious and naturally viral comic properties to emerge in the last decade,” Nick Weidenfeld, head of Animation Domination HD, said in a statement. "I've hoped someone would adapt 'Axe Cop' for television for years and couldn't be happier that we get to be that someone. 'Axe Cop' has all the makings of an iconic animated series and it will help set the tone for Fox’s new late-prime Saturday animation lineup.”
The new series is based on the popular web comic created by then five-year-old Malachai Nicolle, and his 29-year-old brother Ethan. "Axe Cop" follows an axe-wielding police officer and his team of allies. The first five installments, which were written by Malachai and drawn by Ethan, of "Axe Cop" debuted in January 2010.
Animation Domination HD has ordered six 15-minute episodes of the series. Animation Domination HD will air Saturdays starting at 11 p.m. ET in 2013 on Fox and across digital platforms.

Add to myYahoo!CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- Add this to the list of ways the President of the United States woos young voters in an election-year: He slow jams the news.
Obama, appearing on NBC's "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" show, joined the comedy host in a popular feature of his program.
The president, looking in the camera, talked earnestly about student interest rates as The Roots, Fallon's hip house band, laid down a rhythm. Then the camera cut to Fallon in the foreground, where he punched up the message in his own way.
"Now is not the time to make school more expensive for our young people," Obama said. Then Fallon: "Ohhhh yeaahh. You should listen to the president."
The episode was taped during Obama's appearance at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Add to myYahoo!President Obama appears on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" Tuesday night, and he taped the segment that afternoon at the University of North Carolina after he gave a speech there about student loans.
According to pool reports, the president came out from behind a curtain to "slow-jam the news" to The Roots, Fallon’s house band.
"I'm president Barack Obama, and I, too, want to slow-jam the news," the president said.Mr. Obama then held a microphone and described the importance of keeping student loan interest rates low, while the band behind him played a moody, bluesy background music. Fallon came in with his own alternating riffs about Stafford loans.
Background singer serenaded Obama as "the POTUS with the most-est."
Obama spoke politely about the presumptive GOP presidential nominee, Mitt Romney.
"I've met him, but we're not friends," he said. "His wife is lovely." He added that Romney "seems like somebody who cares about his family."
He also had only good things to say about the Secret Service, which has brought him unwanted attention after 11 agents were caught hiring prostitutes in Cartagena, Colombia.
"The secret service, these guys are incredible," Obama said. "They protect me, they protect our girls. A couple of knuckleheads shouldn't detract from that they do. What they were thinking, I don't know. That's why they're not there anymore."
The president was a good sport when Fallon surprised him with a college-age photo of him.
"Notice the afro," Obama said.
