Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato have heated run-in with
the paparazzi (video)

In this week's edition of "paparazzi going too far when it comes to handling celebrities," we have the case of Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato. The two Disney Channel stars were trying their best to have a night out on the town, but upon exiting their venue in Hollywood were met by a throng of photographers. At first, Miley seemed to be rather cordial with the photographers, but that quickly changed after she asked them to stop and they continued to keep the flashes coming. She threatened to "kick" one of the cameramen closest to her, while Demi did her best to support...

'Survivor: Nicaragua' interview: Wendy
DeSmidt-Kohlhoff

This season on "Survivor: Nicaragua," Wendy DeSmidt-Kohlhoff failed to learn a few unfortunate rules of the game:Don't try to hard to play someone other than yourself.Try to talk to everyone.Prove yourself early as a challenge competitor.Due to all of this, she received the dubious honor of being the first person eliminated from the game. On Thursday, I had an opportunity to talk to Wendy a bit about her time on the show.--Matt: So was there anything you saw on TV last night that surprised you?Wendy: I had everything pegged except for Marty's comment about Jimmy Johnson. I...

Jon Stewart Vs. Bill O'Reilly: Watch Their Next
Showdown on Sept. 22

Politics aside, Jon Stewart and Bill O'Reilly are entertainers of the first order. So another Jon and Bill showdown should make for an entertaining evening of television.

Stewart, host of the 'The Daily Show with Jon Stewart' on Comedy Central, will appear on Bill O'Reilly's 'The O'Reilly Factor' on Fox News on Wed., Sept. 22, according to a report in the Los Angeles Times. O'Reilly will reciprocate with a trip to 'The Daily Show' on Mon., Sept. 27.

This will mark Stewart's third appearance on 'The Factor.' A spot in February drew big ratings and headlines.

The visits are for mutual benefit: Stewart will promote his new book, 'Earth (The Book),' while O'Reilly also has a new book, 'Pinheads & Patriots: Your Place in the Age of Obama.'

Elisabeth Moss of 'Mad Men' on 'The Suitcase' and
The Transformation of Peggy Olson

Elisabeth MossYesterday brought a bit of an unexpected but pleasant surprise: an opportunity to speak to Elisabeth Moss, who was doing interviews to promote the DVD release of 'Get Him to the Greek,' which comes out on Sept. 28.

But, this being TV Squad, my concentration was on that other thing Moss is known for, namely her Emmy-nominated role on 'Mad Men.' The fourth season has been a big year for Moss and her character Peggy Olson; Peggy is growing up before our eyes, asserting herself as a woman and a professional in the 1960s workplace. And she held her own opposite Jon Hamm in the pivotal episode 'The Suitcase' two weeks ago, where Don and Peggy spend a night together exploring their friendship and themselves at the same time.

During our brief talk, I asked Moss about that episode, about what her perspective has been on what Peggy's going through this season, and how many times she and Hamm had to cry while shooting 'The Suitcase.'

Exclusive First Look: Diane Lane, Nelsan Ellis in
Secretariat

A few months ago, we got a peek at the trailer for Secretariat, Disney's inspirational real-life story of a housewife (Diane Lane) who led her horse to the Triple Crown. A few things were clear from the get go, mainly that this is definitely a feel-good tear-jerker with a happy ending. However, there's one person we didn't get to see much of in the preview: Nelsan Ellis, aka True Blood's Lafayette! But thanks to these new exclusive photos, we're getting an even closer look at the movie before the film hits theaters Oct. 8. I'm loving Lane's 1970s blond look, but also keep an eye out for a mustached Kevin Connolly. Check out the pics!

Lots of gorgeous photos when you read more.

      Wildcard Bitches!!!

I am absolutely starving for something funny to finally grace my television screen. For all of the shortfalls of summer programming the most glaring has to be a the lack of so much as one quality sitcom. After a long summer bereft of comedy Always Sunny In Philadelphia is back to rescue us.

As the undisputed kings of outlandish humor I couldn't be more pleased than to see tonight's episode is labeled "Mac Fights Gay Marriage". Mac is something of a crusader, his previous causes including abortion (he is against it) and Dennis' moms vagina (he was in it).

If you haven't seen this show you are missing the wildest comedy to ever hit the small screen. Every episode is more out there than the last. Whether the gang is putting on a musical (yes they did) or solving the gas crisis (no they did not) things are bound to spin out of control and into the realm of the surreal.

Always Sunny boasts the best sitcom cast since Newsradio (before Lovitz ruined it). When Danny Devito isn't even the funniest guy on your show, things are going pretty damn good. There isn't a single weak link in the cast, every member has their moments.

And elevating the show from good to great is the brilliant Charlie Day (playing Charlie). Every time the show starts getting too far out there, he is right there to push it over the edge. If I were to pick the funniest guy on television right now it would have to be Charlie (no offense Tracy Morgan). Every time he comes onscreen I know laughter is soon to follow.

Hopefully if you are like me you have had this day circled on your TV calendar for weeks now. But if you haven't, then smarten up. You aren't likely to see a funnier thirty minutes all of this fall on network television.

      video details and more

Always Sunny In Philadelphia airs at 10:00 PM Thursdays on FX.
