It's never fun to be voted off 'Survivor' -- even less so when you're the first castaway sent packing. But that's life in reality TV-land, folks; someone's got to go.

With the wrinkle of 'Survivor: Nicaragua' pitting the old guys vs. the young guns, any misstep could have contributed to the first ouster. Naturally, all the contestants were sizing each other up and trying to pinpoint the weak links. And, whether it was justified or not, one such castaway was plucked from the ranks a mere three days after donning a Nicaragua buff.

As we've quickly learned, Miley Cyrus is not the only celebrity to fire back at the paparazzi this week after they got a little too close. Adam Lambert was trying to enjoy himself on the beach in Miami Thursday, only to come across a few cameras out to spoil the fun for financial gain. Hail to the Veep: ABC Prepares Vice Presidential

The office of the vice president has long provided comic relief in Washington, D.C. Thanks to former Vice President Dan Quayle, we now have an alternate way of spelling "potato.''

Now ABC is developing a dramedy about the Veep, according to Variety. The series will be written by Sheldon Turner ('Up in the Air') and Shaun Cassidy ('Invasion'), and will focus on a fictional vice president and his staff.

The show will focus on the underdog nature of the vice president's office and explore the interpersonal relationships therein, including a romance between the female chief of staff and the vice president's son.
