Add to myYahoo!Pat took center stage on the latest installment of "I Survived" (Sun., 9 p.m. ET on Biography) with a harrowing tale of a combine accident when he was alone working on his farm. He got tangled up in the machine, which cost him his hand, and nearly his life.
But Pat is convinced that it was through prayer and the grace of God that he survived the ordeal. "It felt like I had hands pulling on both of my shoulders," he said. "I couldn’t turn around to see if anyone was there or not but I know that there was someone there."
After losing his hand, Pat used what remained of his arm as leverage to pull himself free, but remains convinced that without the intervention of some guardian angels, he would surely have perished then and there.

Add to myYahoo! After a short six-episode run, the first season of "Shahs of Sunset" (Sun., 10 p.m. ET on Bravo) came to a close. But Bravo didn't leave fans of the show waiting at all, announcing on the same day as the finale that they wanted to get into production as soon as possible on a second season, which will run for more episodes.
In this finale, Reza and his father finally had a heart-to-heart and were able to make great strides in repairing their relationship. Now, perhaps, Reza can focus on his next challenge, getting into better shape!
Inspired by his own success, he convinced MJ to confront her mother as well about all the negativity she throws MJ's way, but this meeting turned into a total disaster. MJ's mother told her she wasn't successful and neither was she marriage material. Brutal!
"Shahs of Sunset" will be back just as soon as Bravo can make it happen.

Add to myYahoo!Lisa Lampanelli experienced a roller coaster of emotions on this week's installment of "The Celebrity Apprentice" (Sun., 9 p.m. ET on NBC). During their task, she and Dayana Mendoza got into it, when Mendoza wanted more to do, and Lampanelli accused her instead of wanting to be in the spotlight. The attack left Mendoza in tears.
"She still has no decency or respect," Mendoza said. Despite Lampanelli later crying in the boardroom and saying she didn't want to be a villain, or make girls cry, she was later much harsher toward Mendoza in a radio interview. There, she resorted to racial slurs and downright vicious and completely uncalled for insults.
Mendoza told HuffPost, "If poking fun at me can help her sell tickets to her shows, no problem, I am happy to help her put food on her table. However, when she uses racial slurs, she is not only targeting myself but degrading an entire Hispanic culture."
In the end, the drama didn't hurt either woman -- or perhaps it helped them if Donald Trump wants to nurture it for better television. Instead it was Paul Teutul Sr. ("American Chopper: Senior vs. Junior") who got the boot for just not doing enough as project manager.

Add to myYahoo! At the current rate, these reunion specials will soon last longer than the seasons they're looking back at. In the first of three reunion specials for "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" (Sun., 9 p.m. ET on Bravo), it was NeNe Leakes and Sheree Whitfield who took center stage with the latest spat in their ongoing fight.
Things escalated until NeNe told Sheree to "Fix that body," and Sheree countered to NeNe, "Fix that face!"
A lot of the arguing settled around whether or not NeNe is as rich as she'd been claiming all season. Sheree doesn't seem to think so, but NeNe wasn't her only target. She was also extremely disappointed with how Phaedra has been handling her legal battle -- accusing her of milking it for the show when it was Sheree's life that was impacted.
The reunion continues next week on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.

I came late to 'Grimm'; I've only been watching for the last month or so - whenever "Three Coins And A Fuchsbau" first aired. I don't know why I resisted sampling it - the premise (so far) seems perfect for the expansion of Toobworld, with the many species of humanoid creatures known as wesen.
To make its mythos fully a part of Toobworld, we should be able to find other TV shows that unofficial examples of the 'Grimm' creatures, in much the same way we look for quantum leapers in other shows (usually to splain away recastaways.)
This doesn't mean we have to see these wesen in their native state. Within the episodes of 'Grimm', we don't see them transform unless they are among their own kind, or when they're in the presence of the "Grimm", Nick Burkhardt.
Pozz'ble candidates to be wesen-folk in other TV shows don't have to be part of the main cast. They could be recurring characters, or guest stars, or they could even be "atmosphere people" in the background (like my friend Ray Amell, whose characters could all be of the Mausehertz species.)

Add to myYahoo! There was nothing groundbreaking about the premiere of "NYC 22" (Sun., 10 p.m. ET on CBS), but in that it fit very well into CBS's current lineup of crime procedurals. As with those other shows, it all comes down to the characters, and there are certainly a fun variety of them.
Like "Rookie Blue," "NYC 22" follows a group of new police officers fresh from the academy as they start their new jobs on the streets, and it stars a pretty young woman -- this time Leelee Sobieski. In New York, though, the streets are meaner, and their coworkers may well be meaner as well. By the end of this hour, two officers found themselves in a hostage situation with a gunman, while the rest of them found themselves in a gang battle, of sorts.
Harper is like a veteran rookie, played by Adam Goldberg, who joined the force after getting let go from a long career at a local newspaper. He used his own experience to help talk the man down enough that they were able to regain control of the situation, with some help from his wife. For all their hard work in both situations, the officers got yelled at for never using their radios to call for backup.
The new drama "NYC 22" continues Sundays at 10 p.m. ET on CBS.
