OTH Theme Song: Matthew Ryan

Matthew Ryan performed the most unusual version of One Tree Hill's theme song this week. Ryan is an underrated alternative country singer who came onto the music scene in 1997 with May Day and has released 10 albums since. Although his take on DeGraw's hit didn't quite fit the title sequence, it was still an interesting mix. Watch the video below and let us know what you think.

'Community' recap: to the impound lot and beyond

Thursday's episode of "Community" was the most-anticipated one of the season, if for no other reason than that the entire bit was meant to be a tribute to "Apollo 13" in a very ridiculous sort of way. Here's the premise -- in a desperate attempt to stick it to City College, Greendale wanted to win the "space simulation" race by buying a simulator from the 1980s that looks remarkably like a Winnebago and carries with it an endorsement from KFC. However, things do not exactly go as planned when Jeff and the gang get accidentally stuck in it and the...

'Glee': Mark Salling not leaving show

Did you notice something strange from Tuesday's episode of "Glee?" If so, it's probably because Mark Salling was the only notable absence among the students at McKinley high. However, we are now being told not read anything into it outisde of the fact that the actor merely had some other plans.Following a report from Hollywood Life that Salling was prioritizing his upcoming solo album over the show, a source close to the actor issues a pretty harsh denial to E! News on the matter:"Mark would never prioritize anything over the show, he respects the executives and his...

Sister Wives: Police Investigation, Sister Wives
Jealousy and Brown Kids True Feelings Exposed on Oprah

We continue to be captivated by TLC's reality show Sister Wives. The Brown family and their polygamy drama make for good television. We never thought this show could get better. Then the Brown's appeared on Oprah to promote  Sister Wives and we learned things about them we did not learn during the show (or at least we did not remember from the show).

A lot of things were revealed on Oprah and we are glad we made the decision to tune in live. Here is what we learned about TLC's Sister Wives when the Brown family was interviewed on Oprah today:

  • The Police Investigation of the family is still ongoing
  • If the police investigation leads to a charge and a conviction Sister Wives star Kody will face up to 15-20 years in jail and each wife could get up to 5 years
  • Kody did not actually think Utah would pursue an investigation and Christine does not want to think about what would happen if they are actually sent to jail
  • Janelle announced that the family does curse, which is weird because they alway resort to "gosh darn its" on the show and we have never heard them utter a curse word
  • In the funniest line during the interview the Sister Wives proclaimed that they do "have monogamous" friends and do not live in a neighborhood full of polygamist
  • Sister Wives star and first wife Meri was fired from her job because of all the attention the show brought
  • Polygamy was a choice that Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn made as adults
  • Christine and Janelle are not getting a divorce from Kody, they are not leaving Kody but all the Sister Wives agreed they have the option to leave if they wanted to
  • Meri knew Janelle and was friends with her before she introduced Kody to her. She essentially introduced Kody to his second wife.
  • The Sister Wives "don't do weird" aka they don't engage in threesomes or foursomes or now, with new wife Robyn, fivesomes
  • Every wife of the Sister Wives clang gets approval of any new wife
  • Meri also played matchmaker for Kody and Robyn. Robyn and Meri were friends and texted a lot. In fact Meri, who expressed jealously of Robyn on the show, convinced Kody to give her a chance
  • Kody was not into Robyn when he first met her and did not think she would become his new wife. He just did not want another wife.
  • Robyn still hasn't moved into the new home despite already being married to Kody. The kids still spend time with Robyn and go over to her house but there is not enough space for her. We stick by our earlier post where we said that it is unfair to the other  Sister Wives for Robyn to have her own place. Robyn should not have her own house.
  • There is "monogamy in polygamy" as Oprah eloquently put it. The Sister Wives do not tolerate Kody going outside the marriage for sex and the wives are not allowed to date
  • Kody is not permitted to sleep with someone before he marries them
  • Christine, who was upset that Kody kissed Robyn prior to marriage, actually told him that he was allowed to kiss her, just as long as he did not do it in front of the other wives. We still think Kody and Robyn shouldn't have kissed when Christine was giving birth to Truely Brown.
  • The Sister Wives understand why other people think that there is a double standard in polygamy since the guy can marry multiple times but the woman cannot, but they don't see it that way and it doesn't bother them
  • Janelle is considered to be the happy one who is always in a good mood
  • Robyn feels like a homewrecker sometimes because she brought a lot of drama into the family when she came in as the 4th wife
  • The Brown family is happy at four wives for now and have no plans bring in a 5th wife
  • The kids do not refer to all moms as mom, just their biological mom
  • Robyn used to text message Madison, Kody's child, before she and Kody got married. She is really close to the teenage kids
  • Robyn turned down other offers of marriage because they suitors were not offering polygamy
  • Robyn practiced the religion that promotes polygamy while she was married to her first husband but was in a monogamous marriage prior to her marriage with Kody
  • The kids feel like they get extra attention, not less, because of all the moms and never feel like they have "half a dad"
  • Chirstimas in the Brown house last four days because each mom has a tradition. In addition everyone makes a dish for Thanksgiving, it's kind of like a potluck
We really loved Oprah's interview with the Sister Wives. The interview uncovered a lot of things we did not know and we cannot wait for the Sister Wives season finale this week at 10 pm (EST).

Host Cat Deeley Loses It On Live TV (VIDEO)

We're 99 percent sure this video featuring Cat Deeley is fake. If it's real then we'll finally admit British snobs are correct and TV really is better across the pond. Either way it's even funnier than Sarah Murdock announcing the wrong winner on 'Australia's Next Top Model.'

Cat Deeley is Europe's Ryan Seacrest (but more attractive). Currently she's the host of both the U.K. and U.S. versions of 'So You Think You Can Dance,' and has emceed several other reality shows. But we're not sure which show this clip is from or supposed to parody.

Louis van Amstel: Margaret Cho's Gay Pride
Message Doomed Us

Filed under: Dancing With The Stars, Celebrities and Gossip

Margaret Cho and Louis Van AmstelWhen Louis van Amstel and his celebrity partner Margaret Cho were eliminated from 'Dancing With the Stars,' he said he "had a breakdown the next day."

"I felt horrible," the Amsterdam-born ballroom champ and choreographer tells PopEater.

He also said he knew that when their samba was linked to gay pride, they were doomed.

Viewers will recall that judge Bruno Tonioli complimented Cho on her gay pride rainbow dress, and judge Carrie Ann Inaba chimed in that the show had gone gay, with Cho declaring it the gayest thing that's ever happened on 'Dancing.'

"That was not the story we planned to tell," van Amstel said. "That was not my message. Maybe it was Margaret's message, but not mine. The minute it was about gay pride, I knew we were gone."
