William Shatner blames a bitter feud with fellow Star Trek star Leonard Nimoy for marring his time on the cult sci-fi series. The actor, who shot to fame as Captain Kirk in the original 1960s TV show, states tensions built up between himself and Nimoy after the dueling pair indulged in a bout of verbal spats on set.[...] Read more!

There's a better reason for watching How I Met Your Mother tonight than to see Britney Spears reprising her role as Abby, the receptionist who may or may not be Barney's next conquest. On the episode called Everything Must Go, Lily and Marshall face their financial troubles head on. With Marshall out of his evil corporate job, their future tied up in an apartment that's in desperate need of renovations because it was built on an incline, and Lily's credit card debt nearly $100,000, the Eriksens are in trouble. It's been building for weeks and it reaches a boiling point tonight when they realize everything must go.Continue reading How I Met Your Mother launches a charity auction

Add to myYahoo!More good revelatory Cylon on Cylon interactions in 4.6 of Battlestar Galactica - or, more specifically, Cylons killing Cylons, not in the civil war, but one on one...
The most significant was Six killing a sister Six. The angel of death Six was my favorite Six - the one who is in a life-and-death political struggle with Brother Cavil (Dean Stockwell). Her sister was a platinum blonde Six, much like the one who is cosmically intertwined with Baltar, and is currently under lock-and-key on the Galactica. The blonde Six on the Cylon ship kills someone from Starbuck's party - a woman who as part of the resistance had killed this Six back on new Caprica - and everyone with Starbuck, especially Anders (a secret four Cylon himself), takes umbrage. Anders, in fact, wants to kill this Six, and the lead Six takes it upon herself, as a way of keeping peace, to kill her sister. Since there's no Resurrection ship around, these deaths really count.
One of the Sharons also gets blasted - in this case, by a toaster, who is trying to protect the Hybrid Oracle from being unplugged. There is also an excellent scene of a whole group Sharons talking to each other.
Meanwhile, the Oracle reveals some mostly inexplicable clues to Starbuck. But one thing is crystal clear - D'Anna (Lucy Lawless) is coming back, and she will play a crucial role, since she has seen the final five Cylons (in contrast to the viewers, who have so far seen only four).
With each episode, the difference between the "good" Cylons and humans recedes...

I'll have the NBC upfront info later today, but I had to post some news about the upfront from NBC Univeral-owned network Telemundo. They announced their new schedule today too, and one of the new shows is titled Sin Tetas No Hay Paraiso. We've reported on this show before. The English translation is Without Breasts There Is No Paradise.
That's right, Telemundo is going to have a TV show about breasts. This gives the term "upfront" a whole new meaning.
When this show was first announced last year, I thought it was something that Ben Silverman grabbed to air on NBC itself, but it doesn't look like that's the case.
If Telemundo really wants a hit on their hands, they should come up with a companion show to go along with this one. Maybe call it Without Beer There Is No Heaven. Really get the young guy demographic. And old guy demographic too. Judging from the photo above, it's not only about breasts but also cell phones and skirts.

Add to myYahoo!Ah we always love the bad girl action on a soapy show and there has been plenty to go around. Serena was greeted by the return of former wild child partner in crime Georgina, with the guest appearance and rumored new cast member come fall, Michelle Trachtenberg (formerly Dawn from Buffy). Serena?s vilification of Chuck, [...]

After Britney Spears made her first appearance on How I Met Your Mother last month, show star Neil Patrick Harris got into a kind of media kerfuffle over whether he did or did not say he wanted to keep guest stars like Britney off the show. So I'm finding it a little amusing that when Brit returns to the show tonight, she seems to be spending most of her scenes with Harris.
Britney is back to reprise her role as Abby, the receptionist in Ted's dermatologist's office. As we now know, Ted and Stella have been dating ? and raising all sorts of speculation that she's the mother ? but Abby isn't faring quite so well. Not only did she have to watch Ted, who she believes might be the love of her life, run off with her boss, but she also suffered the indignity of sleeping with Barney and then never hearing from him again. (You and half the women in New York, Abby.) When the two meet again, though, they bond over their shared hatred of Ted and decide to show off like a couple ? even showing up at the bar in matching baby-blue sweaters.
This episode looks like it will feature more of Britney than the two-line snippets we got last time. Do you think you'll be tuning in? Britney's last appearance brought in about a million extra viewers, and though the series is expected to be renewed at Wednesday's CBS upfronts regardless, it would still be nice to have another good showing. To check out some scenes from tonight's episode, just
