Jessica Simpson's Baby Photos Fetch $800,000

There will be no bidding war for the first pictures of Jessica Simpson's baby girl, Maxwell Drew Johnson. People magazine has already secured the rights to the exclusive photos for $800,000.

"Gone are the days when several magazines would bid on getting the first pictures," one magazine insider tells me. "The only one left that has that sort of money is People. Plus, the others can run a stock image of the Kardashians for a few hundred dollars and sell a huge amount of copies."

Just last week, it was announced that Jessica had signed a $3 million deal with Weight Watchers, bringing the total amount she will make off having a baby to around $3.8 million. Not bad for the new mom-trepreneur.

"Jessica is a little bit of a risky cover," another editor tells me. "She hasn't sold magazine covers in a long time, which is why she has been offered less than a million for the pictures. Although, when it comes to celebrity babies, the risk is minimal."

Jennifer Lopez received $6 million for images of her twins, but the record is still held by Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, who received around $14 million for the exclusive on their twins.??

Conservatives have been outraged by Obama's so-called evolution on gay marriage, and for good reason. After all, they didn't like regular evolution to begin with, so gay evolution has got to be off-the-charts unGodly.

Colbert certainly knows this, as does Pastor Robert Jeffres of First Baptist Dallas, who insists that Obama's gay conversion is contrary to his stated belief in Jesus.

Lifetime Orders Whitney Houston Family Reality
Show

A new reality show starring the family of the late Whitney Houston is coming to Lifetime.

The network announced Whitney Houston's daughter, Bobbie Kristina, and mom Cissy will be featured in the new reality series. Along with Whitney's daughter and mother, "The Bodyguard" star's sister-in-law and manager Pat Houston, Pat's daughter Rayah and Whitney's brother Gary will be featured on the tentatively titled, "The Houston Family Chronicles." According to Lifetime, the series will feature the Houston family "as they take on their greatest challenge, supporting and guiding Bobbi Kristina as she faces the world alone, without the one person she relied on the most, her Mother."

Whitney passed away in February 2012. The official cause of death was"cardiac event" and accidental drowning.

"The tragic loss of Whitney Houston left a void in the hearts of people all over the world, but certainly none more so than her beloved family,? Rob Sharenow, executive vice president of programming at Lifetime Networks, said in a statement. ?In this series, the multi-generations of the Houston family will bravely reveal their lives as they bond together to heal, love, and grow."

Dionne Warwick and CeCe Winans will also appear in the series.

?I have been working with Simmons Shelley over the past few years developing a project suitable for myself and our family," Pat Houston said in a statement. "The unexpected passing of Whitney certainly affects the direction of the show. However, it is my hope that others will be enlightened as they watch our family heal and move forward."

Lifetime has ordered 10 hour-long episodes of "The Houston Family Chronicles" to premiere sometime in 2012.
