Joe Guidice Explains Car Accident on NJ 'Housewives'

To hear Teresa Guidice's husband Joe tell it, his major car accident stemmed from "a deep yawn." He didn't drink at all that evening, he said on 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' (Mon., 10PM ET on BRVO). He was just tired. "I shut my eyes for a second" and hit four trees. "I get through the trees, I hit the pole."

The accident happened in front of a house belonging to a friend of his father's. Before the cops showed up, Guidice helped himself to several shots of the man's Scotch. That's not as stupid as driving drunk, but surely that's unwise.

To Danielle Staub, it's all karma. "Karma's a real big bitch ... It will catch you," she said.

Bethenny Frankel Talks Baby Weight on 'Chelsea Lately'

Magazine editors, new moms, nutritionists, doctors, Bethenny Frankel fans/haters -- they've all given their two cents on Bethenny's rapid weight loss following the birth of her daughter Bryn. She told 'Us Weekly' she lost 29 of her 35 pounds of baby weight in the first three weeks, and the firestorm of controversy grew from there.

On 'Chelsea Lately' (weeknights, 11PM ET on E!), Frankel discussed the issue and was relieved (and perhaps surprised) to find Chelsea Handler understood her argument. "I lost probably most of it by the time I left the hospital," said Frankel. "C-section -- you're there for six days and you don't eat for three of them. And then I probably had like 10 pounds left, and it came off."

Handler commented, "I remember Kate Hudson, when she got pregnant, she turned into like an Oompa-Loopma --"
"Because she probably hadn't eaten for 10 years," interjected Frankel.
"Yeah, and you're like, well obviously this is not natural for you to be this thin if this is what happens when you get pregnant -- you look like a maniac," said Handler.
"That's the whole point!" agreed Frankel.

From 'Hill Street Blues' to 'Criminal Minds':
Daniel J. Travanti to Play a Serial Killer

Award-winning actor Daniel J. Travanti is headed to the other side of the law this fall. According to TVGuide.com he will guest-star in an upcoming episode of 'Criminal Minds' playing an elderly serial killer.

Travanti will take on the role of Mr. Mullens, an Alzheimer's sufferer whose past hides a brutal secret: He was once a serial killer known as The Butcher. Mullens crosses paths with the Behavioral Analysis Unit after he comes out of retirement and tries to recapture his violent past despite not being able to remember much of it.

Although Travanti was most recently seen guest-starring in 'Grey's Anatomy' and 'Prison Break,' he's still best-known as Captain Frank Furillo on the '80s smash hit drama, 'Hill Street Blues.'

Levi Johnston arrives at the 2010 Teen Choice Awards

So, he may not be headed down the aisle with Bristol Palin any time soon, but Levi Johnston just can't let go of the reality TV show dream. Having shopped around various ideas to television networks, he's now reported to be working on another new show: 'Loving Levi: The Road to the Mayor's Office.'

Yes, you read it right: The 20-year-old Johnston wants to follow in Sarah Palin's footsteps and run for the office of Mayor of Wasilla, Alaska. And have it chronicled as part of a "no-holds barred" reality show that will follow the erstwhile 'Playgirl' model as he goes about his campaign and his daily life co-raising son Tripp.

Johnston told 'Variety' that although he initially wasn't that into the whole idea, "the more I think about it and look into it, I think there's a possibility we can make it happen."

When the "tape" was released, "My friends actually didn't text me, and I thought either, you know, they knew it was a gag or they were expecting it, which is awful," said Mendes.
