Review: 'The Big Bang Theory' - 'The Large Hadron
Collision'

'The Big Bang Theory' - 'The Hadron Collision'(S03E15) I'm pinch-hitting for Kona this week due to technical difficulties at the Gallagher homestead. Not sure if I can be the quote machine she is, but you can always add your favorite quotes from the episode into the comments.

You know, I've never been one to take Sheldon's side a lot of the time. As much as I love the character and how Jim Parsons plays him, the fact that a guy who's such a pill can have four people in his life who like him and tolerate his weird, Aspberger-like selfishness should be enough for me to connect to as a viewer. Most of the time, when Sheldon is wreaking havoc over his friends' lives, I'm usually feeling bad for whoever it is -- usually Leonard -- that's getting the brunt of Sheldon's utter Sheldonness.

But this week, I was on Team Sheldon. Why? Because Leonard knows Sheldon would appreciate a trip to the CERN super collider a whole lot more than Penny would, even if the lure of Penny in a snow bunny outfit is a strong one to resist.

A Night at the Museum: Breathless Lovers on
"Chuck"

While Chuck's emotional heart lays in the thwarted relationship between Chuck and Sarah, it's impossible to maintain the will-they-or-won't-they dynamic indefinitely. We've seen both internal and external rationales for why they wouldn't end up together, not least of which is the pull between professional duty and personal desire. Some potential love interests have come and gone: there was Rachel Bilson's Lou, Jordana Brewster's Jill, Matthew Bomer's Bryce Larkin. Each of them in their own way cast a thorn into our star-crossed lovers; after all, while Chuck and Sarah might be meant for each other in a cosmic way, that doesn't mean that they wouldn't seek out less complicated companionship in the here-and-now.I don't think any of us would have predicted that Kristin Kreuk and Brandon Routh would provide perhaps the very best love interests for Chuck and Sarah to date. Yet on last night's episode of Chuck ("Chuck Versus the Mask"), written by Phil Klemmer and directed by Michael Schultz, we saw Chuck and Sarah each take an important step towards connecting with someone else.So what did I think of last night's episode? Let's discuss.I thought that the introduction and integration of both Shaw and Hannah were handled extremely well over the last few episodes. Routh's Shaw has fit in quite nicely to the world of Chuck, offering the team a charismatic if haunted leader who is determined to shake things up for the Intersect. After two seasons of Chuck being told to wait in...

Vampire Diaries - Children of the Damned, S01E13

Vampire Diaries is always such a satisfying show to watch. Finally, we got to see a more clear perspective on the events in 1864 which resulted in the Vampires being locked in the church, and after watching it, I have a lot more questions.
We finally learned how the Vampires, including Anna (Malese Jow), were able to walk in the light. Emily, the witch from that era, created a spell connected to the rings to give them this power. We also learned that Stefan (Paul Wesley) was to blame for Katherine being captured and locked in the church, something Damon (Ian Somerhalder) has never forgiven him for. Perhaps the guilt Stefan feels over this is the reason that over the last 145 years, Stefan has continually let Damon into his life, let his guard down, and had all hell break loose. He feels he deserves the punishment for having broken Damon's trust first.I can only hope that Stefan's affections for Elena (Nina Dobrev) will prevent him from allowing that sort of havoc to happen again.
I am even more desperate to find out how Damon and Stefan were made into vampires. Unless they had already drunk some of Katherine's blood before their father dragged her away, then how could she be their makers? How did they become Vamps?
The best part of watching episodes with historical flashbacks is the costumes. We should all start dressing in Civil War styles again! Don't you think so?

Gossip Girl

Excerpt from "Spoiler Chat: Will Sawyer Forget About Juliet and Reunite With Kate on Lost?"

Bianca in Fla.: OMG OMG OMG KRISTIN! I'm sending this last-minute message in hopes that you can completely make my week and give us spoilers on who else is getting married on Gossip Girl?!? (Possibly Chuck and Blair?!) There were set pictures of the cast filming inside a church today, with 150 extras! Seems it would point to a big wedding?and since Dorota's wedding has already been filmed?who else is it?! Hints please! Thanks!

Sorry, my dear. There are no big weddings or funerals coming up on Gossip Girl (other than Dorota's modest nuptials, obviously). The set pics probably captured one of the show's many upcoming party shoots. Lots of parties to come, but no church-centric life milestones for our favorite Upper East Siders.

Lost

Excerpt from "Spoiler Chat: Will Sawyer Forget About Juliet and Reunite With Kate on Lost?"

Rachel in New York: Any Sawyer and Kate scoop on Lost?

Tomorrow night on Lost Sawyer and Kate will share a beautiful and heart-wrenching scene at the end of a dock, and then another one inside of a house that might turn some Skaters into Sulieters. She sees how deep his feelings for Juliet really go, and they go very deep. (Hint: He has a ring.)

Lily in England: So glad Lost is back! Do you have any dish about my favorite characters, Jack, Sayid or Hurley?

Well, let's see: In this next ep, Jack tries to kill himself. (Sorta. And perhaps not intentionally.) And speaking of death and self-destruction, Rousseau and "the infection" come back into play. As I mentioned in the previous Redux, the final 10 or so minutes of this week's Lost are not to be missed.

Bett in Roswell, N.M.: Scoop me some Lost!

In this week's flash-sideways, Kate and Claire spend more time together and we see that Kate may be destined to be a part of Aaron's life regardless of whether they crashed on the island, and someone else might have the same destiny. Keep your eyes peeled for the surprise return of an old frenemy!
