It only took four seasons and more than 80 episodes, but finally Castle and Beckett were on the same page at the same time and more importantly, spoke aloud their feelings to one another on the season finale of "Castle" (Mon., 10 p.m. ET on ABC).
In shows like this, the chase is always half the fun, but it can only go on so long. Showrunner Andrew Marlowe revealed to E! Online that they simply knew the time had come to finally consummate this relationship.
Marlowe said that they simply had run out of material that could realistically keep the couple apart. "We were dangerously close to having to repeat ourselves or step backwards," he said.
It should create a whole new and fun dynamic for the writers to play with in Season 5 as Castle and Beckett explore a new relationship amidst all the other drama that crops up quite regularly in their lives.
"Castle" has already been renewed and will return to ABC's schedule in the fall.

Add to myYahoo! We weren't completely sold on New Girl when it first debuted last Fall, but now it's one of our favorite shows! With the season finale tonight, BuzzSugar editors Becky Kirsch and Shannon Vestal are taking a look at how the series won us over with things like shirtless Schmidt, Jess and Nick's romantic tension, and of course, the hilarious one-liners. If you're a fan, you'll definitely want to watch, and if you're not, then we're pretty sure we'll convince you to take it up. It's all in this week's episode of The Buzz!

Add to myYahoo!Jason Alexander popped up as Alan's doctor on the 200th episode of "Two and a Half Men" (Mon., 9 p.m. ET on CBS). He gave Alan the worst news a heart patient could ever want to hear. It turns out Alan is in perfect health, as if he'd never had the heart attack at all.
Considering Alan is a world-class mooch, and his friends and family had never been more kind and generous than since he had that mild heart attack, finding out he was now healthy as a horse was like his worst nightmare coming true.
To ensure fans think Alan is as despicable as possible, the rest of the episode saw him taking full advantage of Walden's weak spot for people dying around him. He hit him up for a new room, motorized chair for going up the stairs and even a premium television package. All simply because he has no moral compass whatsoever.
In the end, though, Zoey saw right through him and had a private detective tail him, catching him playing a rousing game of beach volleyball with beautiful bikini-clad women. The gig was up and Alan's punishment was to essentially be ignored on the floor where he collapsed attempting to fake yet another heart attack.
Next week is the season finale of "Two and a Half Men," Monday at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.

Add to myYahoo! The "Antiques Roadshow" (Mon., 8 p.m. ET on PBS) stopped in Minneapolis Monday night where it gave regular viewer Lesley a bit of a shock.
She had brought her engagement ring to be appraised and discovered that it was potentially worth a fortune. The ring featured a large yellow diamond that she chose on a trip to New York City in 1976 with her then-fiance.
Lesley said she's not married any more and hadn't worn the ring in 20 years. She had no idea that the diamond was an extremely valuable 3.4 carats, which, the apppraiser said, could fetch as much as $160,000 at auction.
Lesley was so astonished she just couldn't take it all in. "Oh my gosh," she said. "I just can't even believe that." Later, she said "I am absolutely in shock."
See more treasure troves uncovered on "Antiques Roadshow," Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on PBS.

Add to myYahoo!Brooklyn Decker may seem like the girl who has it all, but apparently not everything comes easily to the supermodel-turned-actress. According to the 24-year-old beauty, Battleship director Peter Berg made her prove she had real acting chops before giving her a highly sought after role in the Summer blockbuster. We met up with Brooklyn at the movie's press junket at the US Naval Base at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii recently to hear about the brutal audition process. Brooklyn also talked about her girl crush on Rihanna, her love scene with Taylor Kitsch, and explained to us how she handles watching her onscreen hookups when husband Andy Roddick is by her side. Check out our interview with Brooklyn and catch Battleship when it hits theaters May 18!

Add to myYahoo!Andy Cohen stepped away from the host position to sit down as a guest opposite Stephen Colbert on "The Colbert Report" (Weeknights, 11:30 p.m. ET on Comedy Central). Cohen was there to talk about his new book, "Most Talkative: Stories from the Front Lines of Pop Culture," but Colbert nailed him immediately about his talk show.
What started as post-"Housewives" chats to a weekly show has morphed into the popular "Watch What Happens: Live," which now airs almost every night on Bravo. In very short order, Cohen has stepped right into the late night battle for viewership.
Colbert mentioned that Cohen was also Executive Vice President of Development at Bravo. "Did having that job convince you to give yourself a show on the network?? he asked.
Cohen laughed along, and proved a good match for Colbert's trademark interview techniques. The talkative host even survived a staring contest of silence with Colbert in an interview fans called a triumph of entertainment for both men.
Andy Cohen can be seen weeknights on "Watch What Happens: Live" at 11 p.m. ET on Bravo. "The Colbert Report" airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET on Comedy Central.
