Let's see: Bravo is owned by NBC and Bon Jovi is appearing on several NBC shows exclusively for a while, including Saturday Night Live, The Jay Leno Show, and Today (and doing a promo for all of the USA Network shows that feature a "hero"), so it's a natural that the band would appear with James Lipton on Inside The Actor's Studio, right? Right?
*crickets*

Add to myYahoo!I don't actually watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta, but as I have a pulse and an internet connection, I am all to aware of housewife Kim Zolciak and her uh, club jam, "Tardy for the Party." For those of you who may not be totally up on the whole Atlanta saga, Kim is the one who's dating a married man named Big Papa and wears a wig, which she said was due to a battle with cancer-- until she admitted that she had never actually had cancer; she just thought she might one time until she actually went to the doctor.
So anyway, The Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion, hosted by Bravo exec Andy Cohen, is airing on Thursday, and part of the festivities involve Kim singing her "hit." You guys, there are two important items to note about this performance: 1) she has dancers and 2) she is not lip-synching.
Have you ever had a drunken friend or relative get up and sing a really inappropriate karaoke song, and you just smiled uncomfortably and prayed for it to be over quickly? This is like that-- except it is most definitely not over quickly.

Add to myYahoo! What is up with the Zach Galifianakis fame train?! After this Summer's The Hangover, I keep hearing his name. He's already invaded Sunday nights on HBO's Bored to Death, and he has a slew of upcoming films, including a comedy with Robert Downey Jr. and a dramedy opposite Amy Adams. Now, he's reportedly picking up an animated film credit, too, lending his voice to Humpty Dumpty in the Shrek spinoff Puss in Boots.
Could Galifianakis be the next Will Ferrell? Seems like a worthy successor to me - then again, you already knew that I'm a fan of his. Tell me how you feel: love him or leave him?

The Internet's never ending "series of tubes" were circulating rumors that I thought had already been addressed years ago by TV Squad, The View and even the monster's own mouth.
Rumors started circulating earlier this morning that Sesame Street's Cookie Monster would drop the "Cookie" on his business card and replace it with "Veggie." It became the top Google search this morning and fueled rumors that the character would make the official change on the show's 40th Anniversary on Nov. 10th.
A show rep said Cookie Monster will remain as such, even if he considers cookies a "sometimes food." That's good ol' Cookie Monster, teaching kids the value of nutrition while sacrificing the value of good grammar.

Add to myYahoo! It appears that the Russians have fringe science, too. Tonight's episode of Fringe, "Earthling," ups the creep factor with an old case of Agent Broyles' that's come back to haunt him. The story centers on a cosmonaut who goes to outer space and brings something mysterious back with him that's killing people.
On first glance, it appears to be a standalone episode not connected with the alternate universe, but my feeling is that every episode is somehow connected to the big picture. The fact that this series of murders was unsolved is a good clue, and the guy in the hospital bed with half of a head is reminiscent of the people who get caught between the two universes. Any theories before we see tonight's episode?
And since the last episode, "Dream Logic," ended with a young Peter being yanked from his room, I'm hoping we get a few more clues into his past in tonight's episode, too. Here's the clip, straight from SlashControl.

Add to myYahoo!Where could we go from where we left off? Dexter (Michael C Hall) in trouble with Rita (Julie Benz) for keeping his old apartment. The Trinity Killer (John Lithgow) turning out to be father and husband of the year after completing his cycle. Deb (Jennifer Carpenter) in depression because Lundy is dead.Forward, my friends, we go forward.
Dexter is still on his hunt; he will not relent to kill Trin just because he has family. It doesn't stop him from being a serial killer. It does, however, put him in the unique position of being able to give Dexter sound advice about how to deal with the responsibilities of family while satisfying the dark passenger. They might have ended up great friends, part of the club of awesome family-man serial killers if only they had the same code, but instead Trin in the prey and Dexter the vicious beast hunting him.Again, I got to say that I love seeing that part of Dexter emerge. He can see so normal and adjusted, simply facing the trials of every day, like the rest of us, and than that urge, that need to kill comes out. Uncompromising, Dexter would not listen to the argument that Trin is a father and has kids either. Alright, the man he is killing is also a monster, and Dexter knows that, but it's good for us to remember from time to time too.
Though, lately, I have wondered why Dexter so desperately wants to hold on to his family. He's trying and he doesn't know what he needs to do, and Rita certainly isn't helping him out. I loved when the marriage councilor reamed her out for expecting Dexter to change, like she had expected Paul to change. That's right, she needs to take responsibility for everything that's going on as well. It's not like Dexter is presenting new behaviour, it's just that she's expecting him suddenly to be able to read her mind. We women have to remember that men just can't do that, and if we want something from them, we have to tell them.
But Dexter's drama is not as bad as Deb's. She nearly claimed to have witness the Vacation Murderer, Nikki, shoot Frank. She would have borne false witness to put the girl away, until she realized that some of Frank's notes were missing. Suddenly it occurred to her it must be Trinity.Better work fast Dex, Deb is on your trail.
What did you think?

Add to myYahoo! What to get the woman who raised you? She may not be as hard to shop for as grandma or dad, but I still have a few ideas. Mine is a Dancing With the Stars fanatic, so I'm snatching up their new workout DVD. Also on the list: Valerie Bertinelli's memoir and a cute Liz Lemon tote to take to the grocery store. I'm considering a TiVo, too - that way, she doesn't have to decide between The Amazing Race and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition on Sunday nights anymore. (Really, it's like Sophie's Choice.)
But if my suggestions don't strike your fancy, check out all of the gift guides across the Sugar network. You're sure to find something!
