'Actors Studio' Kicks Off Its 16th Season with
Bon Jovi

In a rare, intimate appearance, the members of Bon Jovi grace the stageof Bravo's "Inside The Actors Studio" Monday, November 16 at 8 p.m.ET/PT.

Instruments in hand, the New Jersey natives reflect on theirillustrious 26-year career together, each discussing their personalstruggles along the way and describing how it was the band thatultimately held them together. Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, DavidBryan, and Tico Torres answer all of James Lipton's probing questions,pausing only to demonstrate their musical skill with a few of theirgreatest hits from the past three decades.

Bon Jovi has sold more than 120 million albums and has played over 3000concerts to over 32 million fans in roughly 50 countries. Yet many oftheir greatest hits came from the partnership of Bon Jovi and Samboraworking together in the basement of Richie's mother's house. Themusicians reflect on the strong friendship they have developed over theyears, as well as the individual side projects each is committed to.

The Onion Gets a Show on Comedy Central

It's the sports world at its funniest: COMEDY CENTRAL has ordered apilot from The Onion for a half-hour, scripted comedy series based onits popular Onion Sports Network online video series, as announcedtoday by Lauren Corrao, president, original programming anddevelopment, COMEDY CENTRAL.

The as-yet untitled series will take on the whole universe of modernsports teams, players, leagues, sycophantic fans, ridiculous productsand over-hyped sports coverage with an eye towards appealing to sportsfanatics and more casual fans, as well as long-time followers of TheOnion and The Onion News Network.

"We are thrilled to be in business with a cultural icon like The Onionto give our audience the sports show they deserve," said Corrao. "Theshort-form content on the OSN Web series is outstanding, hilarious andexactly what you'd expect from the gang. We're really excited to takethis great idea and turn it into a regular, weekly series."

Three-time Grammy Award-winning Reprise Records rock band Green Day willhelp usher in 2010 on "NBC's New Year's Eve with Carson Daly." Theband's eighth studio album, 21st Century Breakdown, was released on May15, 2009 and has reached #1 in fourteen different countries, hittingGold or Platinum in each.

The two-hour special will air live on Thursday, December 31, beginningin primetime from 10-11 p.m. (ET), and continuing at 11:30 PM (ET) withthe countdown to 2010 and the first performances of the New Year."NBC's New Year's Eve with Carson Daly" will broadcast in highdefinition from the middle of the world's most famous New Year's Evedestination, Times Square in New York City. Neil Patrick Harris, Jennifer Love Hewitt and
More to Voice Characters in CBS Christmas Special

Neil Patrick Harris, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Alfred Molina are amongthose set to voice key characters for the new half-hour animatedChristmas special, YES, VIRGINIA, presented by Macy's, which willpremiere Friday, Dec. 11 (8:00-8:30 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS TelevisionNetwork.

YES, VIRGINIA tells the story of 8-year-old Virginia O'Hanlon (BeatriceMiller, "Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs"), a young girl growing up inlate 1800s New York City who always loved Christmas, until theplayground bully, Charlotte (Julian Franco) tells her and the otherchildren that Santa Claus doesn't exist.

Not sure what to believe,Virginia and her friend, Ollie (Kieran Patrick Campbell), venture intothe streets of New York City to uncover the truth. Along the way, theyencounter a Scraggly Santa (Michael Buscemi, "Nurse Jackie") who istrying to raise money for the less fortunate (he admits he's not thereal deal, but someone who sort of works for Santa Claus), anover-eager librarian with a shelf full of Christmas books, andinteresting advice from Virginia's quirky scientist father (NeilPatrick Harris, "How I Met Your Mother") and understanding mother(Jennifer Love Hewitt, "Ghost Whisperer").

Unable to find the answer,Virginia decides to write a letter to the New York Sun newspaper,knowing that their reputation for reporting the facts is cemented bytheir motto "If you see it in The Sun, it's so!" Virginia's lettermakes its way to the curmudgeonly editor, Francis Church (AlfredMolina, "Frida," "Spider-Man 2"), who feels he has better things to dothan respond to a little girl's question. But, with Virginia'sdetermination, and a little help from Scraggly Santa, Mr. Church ispersuaded to write the answer that became the most famous newspapereditorial of all time: "Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus!"

The Price is Right is full of bloopers, bleeps and blappers. But only one word can describe this: blooptastic.

One of the show's models (what are they called now? Drew's Dames? Carey's Chicks?) was modeling a prize, specifically a remote controlled skateboard, and...well, you can problem imagine what happens next. And if you can't, please get an imagination upgrade.

Rolihlahla "Nelson" Mandela was born to a tribal chief in Transkei, a former republic of Africa. His father died when Mandela (given the name Nelson at school) was nine. The tribe was grooming the younger Mandela for a greater role, but he left to become a lawyer.

Mandela joined the ANC in 1943 and set about remaking the organization into a more radical force for change leading the organization's armed wing. Mandela was banned, arrested and imprisoned by the apartheid regime time and again. He spent much of his time evading capture until, in 1964, he was sentenced to life in prison for charges including sabotage and planning armed action. At his trial, Mandela explained that the choice to embrace violence as a tactic was made after all other strategies had failed.

Behind bars, Mandela became a powerful symbol as the anti-apartheid movement gained strength worldwide. Mandela was released on February 11, 1990, after 27 years in prison. He was elected president of the ANC in 1991 and was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize two years later.

Mandela voted for the first time in his life ? and was sworn in as the president of South Africa ? in 1994. He stepped down in 1999 and set up three foundations bearing his name.
