TLC Renews 'Long Island Medium' & Sets 2 More
Premieres

Theresa Caputo isn't done connecting with with the dead just yet.

TLC's hit series "Long Island Medium" has been renewed for a third season, promising another 16 episodes of Caputo's struggle to balance her life as a mother with her gift of connecting people with their long lost loved ones.

The first two seasons saw impressive ratings for TLC, with the current season averaging 1.9 million viewers.

Additionally, the network has two specials airing this month, and they both center on the triumphs and travails of pregnancy.

"Obese & Expecting," premiering on May 17 at 9 p.m. ET, will take a closer look at what it's like to be pregnant and morbidly obese. The special will follow four pregnant women who open up about the health crises, weight gain and relationship drama they experience as they work to deliver healthy babies.

On a similarly sobering note, "Birth Moms" premieres on Thursday, May 17 at 10 p.m. ET. The special will zero in on the lives of three young pregnant women living at an adoption center who work to make the most difficult decision of their lives: Whether or not to put their babies up for for adoption.

'Swamp People' Stars Unhurt In 5-Car Pileup

DODDRIDGE, Ark. ? Two stars of the reality TV show "Swamp People" are unhurt after being involved in a five-car pileup near the Arkansas-Louisiana state line.

The Texarkana Gazette reports that Tommy Chauvin and Joe LaFont, known as "Trigger Tommy" and "Trapper Joe" on the show, were the two cast-members involved in the crash, which left "Swamp People" merchandise strewn across the highway.

Arkansas State Police say three people suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries in Monday's crash on U.S. 71.

Police say four cars had stopped for a flagman directing traffic around highway maintenance work but that a fifth driver failed to halt and smashed into a tractor-trailer, causing the pileup.

The History Channel's "Swamp People" follows a group of Louisiana alligator hunters in the Atchafalaya Swamp.

Khloe Kardashian & Lamar Odom Taking A Break From
Reality TV

On Monday it was reported that Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom were pulling the plug on their popular reality show "Khloe & Lamar," but they're really just taking some time off.

"Entertainment Tonight" caught up with the couple at the E! Network's Upfront Event on Monday night, where they set the record straight. "Our show is not canceled," Khloe explained. "Lamar and I have chosen to take a break this summer. We've been on a whirlwind doing back-to-back shows. We just want to take a little time off for Lamar to be with family time, kids, basketball, Olympics, you never know. So, we have a lot on our plate right now."

The reports the couple were ending their show were believable in tandem with rumors that Odom had become deeply depressed following his split from the Dallas Mavericks. "We just want to be happy. We'll take our time and we'll get back to it when the time is right" the 32-year-old basketball player told ET, adding that he aims to play on this summer's Olympic team.

And despite reports the couple were at odds with "momager" Kris Jenner, the family matriarch appeared to be very understanding of her daughter and son-in-law's decision at last night's event.

Even if Khloe and Lamar do later decide to permanently cancel their show, it doesn't mean we'll be seeing any less of the Kardashian family, who just signed a reported $40 million deal for the next three seasons of "Keeping Up The Kardashians."

Willam says sex-with-husband explanation for Drag
Race elimination was "false"

RuPaul's Drag Race ended its fourth season after delaying its climax last week, and finally crowned a winner: Sharon Needles. But even she might not have know she won at that moment, because at last week's taping, all three finalists were crowned the winner to keep it an even greater secret. That's a ridiculously over-the-top amount of secrecy, which is somehow perfect for this show. The only other thing that mattered about the reunion/finale/ratings-grab was... keep reading »
