We are two months in to the fall line up and we are finally ready to finalize our television schedule. Here is our definitive list for November of shows to play, shows to pass on and the trash reality shows for Friday night. Check back next week to see what ?possible plays? make it onto our playlist and see the trash reality shows we are watching for the night.
TV Shows to Watch:
For those of you who have a tight schedule, here are our favorite new, returning and trash reality tv shows on Friday night. New TV Show to Watch: Blue Bloods
It?s not just one of the best shows on Friday night, it is one of the best new tv shows of the fall. We are just disappointed that this compelling cop drama has such a bad time slot. The Reagan family drama always entertains us. The show also has a strong ensemble cast, which includes Tom Selleck and Donnie Wahlberg. Put it on your playlist, you won?t regret it.
Returning TV Show to Watch: None Friday night is a weak night for television. None of the returning series are compelling enough for us to watch. Trash- Reality TV Show to Watch: School Pride
It is not really trash but we label all reality series with this label so... Make sure you have your box of tissues ready when you watch this series. This Extreme Home Makeover like show features one deserving school each week and gives the school a free makeover. At the end of the episode there is not a dry eye in the house. Kids, learning, making the world a better place one school at a time, what?s not to love. Permanent Playlist: Our TV shows to watch runner-ups, watch live or catch up online.
None, again Friday night is literally where networks dump failing shows before they cancel them.
Possible Plays: The FloatersSometimes these tv shows make it on to our playlist, other times we can do without them. Medium: Allison?s continues to use her psychic abilities to solve crimes but after 7 seasons and a network change, NBC to CBS, we think it is may be time for her to pack it in. There are still some occasional good moments during the series but not enough to get us to commit week after week. Smallville: Clark Kent will finally become Superman this season but will that be enough to spice up the boring plot lines and over the top acting? Only time will tell.
Supernatural: Dean and Sam team up to restore order to heaven and hell. We know we should care, and we have to admit that sometimes we do, but a lot of the times we don?t. Sometimes we think that the show should have ended after the 5th season like they planned. CSI: NY: We will reiterate what we said about the original CSI during Thursday?s Play, Pass and Trash, we wish this series had David Caruso. Degrassi: The Next Generation: The series heated up when Alli left, when Clare and Eli started dating and when the show started to explore a possible love triangle between Adam, Fiona and Drew. We love this teenage drama that may quite possibly go on forever.Permanent Pass: None Trash:
Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders: Making the Team: We love watching these wannabe Cowboy Cheerleaders compete for a coveted spot on the team. We also love watching trainer Jay tear the girls apart with a brutal workout. Watch Kelli and Judy tear these girls apart and kill their dreams.
Occasional Trash: Gigantic: The TeenNick series has potential but has yet to meet it. Tune in to see what these Hollywood kids get into this week.
