The Carol Burnett Show was a rare network TV series that did topical satire. It was tame, broad, G-rated satire, but we'll go out on a limb and guess that if her suit gets that far, a judge will rule that it's not that far a stretch from her own "As The Stomach Turns" and "Starlet O'Hara" to the Charwoman mopping up peep show booths.And happy birthday, Jerry Lewis!
